Ski the Gébroulaz glacier: the legendary glacier descent of the 3 vallées with a mountain guide, the only professional authorised to supervise glacier skiing.
Do you dream of skiing on a glacier, away from the crowds, in a wild and grandiose setting? The Méribel Guides will take you on a unique experience on the Gébroulaz glacier, often referred to as the Vallée Blanche de la Vanoise. A legendary descent, considered to be one of the most beautiful in the Alps, and undoubtedly one of the Top 5 in the 3 Valleys!
From the top of the Moraine cable car in Val Thorens, it takes around 650 metres of ski touring to reach the top of the glacier, at an altitude of 3,400 metres. The effort is amply rewarded by an exceptional panorama of the Vanoise glaciers and an unforgettable descent in a glacial environment, between seracs, crevasses and unspoilt valleys.
This outing is for good skiers who are comfortable in all types of snow and in good physical condition. It is supervised by a High Mountain Guide, the only professional authorised to supervise glacier skiing.
