Canyon de l'Eau Rousse

Swimming, jumping and sliding in a wild natural setting: canyoning is the must-do activity of the summer. Accessible from the age of 10, this fun and varied canyon is ideal for a first experience, with family, friends or groups (EVG, seminars, team outings). All the obstacles can be avoided, so everyone can progress at their own pace.

Located around 35 minutes from Méribel, this course has everything you'd expect from a longer canyon: jumps, natural slides, abseils and clear water basins. It's the perfect introduction to canyoning.

After a clear and comprehensive briefing at the water's edge, the descent begins with a 15-minute approach walk. The canyon gets off to a gentle start, as you walk and slide between water-polished rocks.

The first large basin allows you to make several jumps of between 3 and 7 metres. The journey then continues with a fun sequence of jumps, slides and abseils until you reach the exit of the canyon.

The descent takes around 2 hours. It takes 3 hours in total, including equipment, approach and return. The return to the base is an easy 5-minute walk from the canyon exit.
