Ski touring Méribel

Ski touring Méribel & 3 Vallées

Private engagement or group outing

Ski touring takes on a whole new dimension in Méribel. With direct access to the world's largest ski area, Les 3 Vallées, you can combine effort, nature and exploration... without sacrificing comfort. The ski lifts are real allies here: they allow you to gain altitude quickly and access isolated, unspoilt areas that are often completely untracked.

In just a few minutes, you'll leave the slopes and find yourself alone in the world, in wild combes, secret slopes or suspended valleys. That's the advantage of ski touring at Méribel: you can take advantage of the vastness of the area to find authenticity, without long, tedious approaches.

Accompanied by a mountain guide, you'll ski in complete safety on itineraries suited to your level and interests. Whether you're a novice or a seasoned skier, every outing is an opportunity to (re)discover the mountains in a different way.

Private commitmentsYour guide will create a tailor-made outing in an exceptional setting in the heart of the 3 Valleys, adapted to your wishes and your level, to satisfy every member of your group.

Group optionThe itinerary is chosen to suit the level of the group, with the advantage of a shared price. Departure guaranteed from 3 participants.

FAQ

It is preferable to be comfortable on red runs when skiing downhill. Our outings are suitable for all levels, from beginner to experienced skiers.

These ski levels apply to freeriders.

BeginnerA good level of downhill skiing (red runs), but experience of all-snow skiing is limited to short forays along the slopes.

IntermediateThe ability to ski on any piste in any conditions (icy black runs, etc.), with considerable off-piste experience (being able to ski classic ungroomed itineraries quite far from the lifts, in a variety of snow types, whether "filmy" or a little more challenging, etc.).

ExpertThe aim is to achieve complete mastery of mountain skiing in all its forms: long off-piste itineraries, ease in couloirs, steep slopes, and all demanding itineraries where every movement must be perfectly executed.

BeginnerIdeal for those who: don't particularly enjoy endurance sports, can ski on piste for a day with regular breaks. Would like to discover the pleasures of off-piste mountain skiing with introductory itineraries that are not too physically demanding.

IntermediatePhysical fitness: Practises endurance sports fairly regularly, able to walk for about two hours with a reasonable amount of ascent. Can ski a whole day on the slopes without getting too tired at the end.

ExpertEndurance sports: practises endurance sports assiduously, can walk for several hours with a significant difference in altitude, and is capable of several significant climbs in the course of a single walk.

Yes, that's one of the great advantages of Méribel! The lifts allow us to reach wild areas quickly, while reducing the effort required on the way up.

We offer half-day and full-day tours. Depending on the weather, your level and your objectives, the guide will adjust the itinerary to ensure the best possible experience.

Depending on the day's programme, there are two options: a packed picnic in a sheltered spot in the heart of nature, or lunch in a mountain restaurant within easy reach of the route. The guide will adapt the outing to your wishes.

Yes, as long as each participant has a good level of skiing and is in good physical shape. It's a great experience to share with motivated teenagers or sporty families.

Safety is our priority. The guide can change the itinerary, choosing another, more sheltered slope. But in the 3 valleys, it's very rare not to find an alternative!
